Eftis Paraskevaides, who sells under the username "bidancient" at online auctions, is one of the worst fakers selling online today. In the past few years he has gone from selling the occasional, sly fake to selling piles of outright garbage on a weekly basis. Many people who began buying from him when he was trustworthy are today being ripped off. Do not believe for a second that he doesn't know better; Eftis and his son Costa are astute collectors, and your money is being spent to grow their own collection. He has private auctions for a reason. The Paraskevaides Museum that Eftis loves to rant about is being built on fraud.

See what real people have to say about the quality of garbage sold by Eftis. A search of any one of these bulletin boards will reveal many, many more references. You will find comments from regular people as well as professionals, including other dealers of antiquities.
